Seaweed as an Alternative Energy Source

seaweedSeaweed or micro-algae as producers of alternative energy (biodiesel) were considered more competitive than other commodities.  Based on research, biodiesel from seaweed could eliminate carbon gases and land use will not interfere with the mainland.

So far, Koreans already have the technology to make use of seaweed as a source of energy, complete with a grand strategy, road map, model, and its activities. But it is not supported by the availability of natural resources.

Areas that have a very long coastline and warm climate, have abundant seaweed. And development of alternative energy is very promising

Currently the world’s energy sources are still dominated by non-renewable resources such as oil, coal, gas of 80.1%. While renewable energy sources but contain risks as much as 6.3% nuclear, and renewable energy sources, especially new traditional biomass of 13.6%.
